Our History
Company history
The company SIEGERT was established in 1945 by Dipl.-Ing. Ludwig Siegert.
In the 1950s, SIEGERT's main business was the manufacturing of film resistors. In 1965, production of miniature resistors for medical devices commenced.
In the early 1970s, thick film technology was introduced which developed into a division of its own, SIEGERT Hybridtechnik. Rapid expansion of this branch mandated establishment of a dedicated production site in Cadolzburg-Egersdorf in 1975, which received major enhancements and new buildings in 1980, 1985, 2006, 2012 und 2018.
